In 2006 I was accepted on to The Quilters’ Guild of the British Isles Quilt Judging Course. At the end of 2008 I passed this course and so I am looking forward to my first assignment as a judge in 2009.
I have written articles for The Quilter, Popular Patchwork and Patchwork and Quilting and have exhibited on several occasions with Kennet Quilters as part of the Whiteknights Studio Trail, at the Festival of Quilts and, most recently, with Loose Threads at the Harvey Gallery, Guildford. I have taught Patchwork and Quilting and enjoyed devising projects for adults and Primary and Secondary school children.
I am currently experimenting with using unusual materials in developing wall hangings. I like to take inspiration from plants and from landscapes and particularly enjoy the challenge of using curves in my work.
