Designed as a 3D container for Certificate City and Guilds. The theme was ‘War Time Memories’ A shoe box for love letters.
The fabrics for this project were tea dyed to create a vintage effect and other materials include recycled ties and dresses to suit the war time necessity of creating new from old and worn. The patchwork technique is foundation based crazy with hand embellishments.
