Loose Threads are a group of seven quilters with a passion for textiles. Five of them met whilst doing a City and Guilds course in patchwork and quilting in Yateley, Hampshire, England. The sixth member joined after seeing their impressive end-of-year exhibition in 2006. The seventh member joined the group in 2008.
Each member brings different ideas, views and knowledge to the regularly held meetings, where we try to stretch our design and technical skills. Look through the site and see the member’s work and you to can get inspired. This is not just ‘patchwork’ ...... it is ‘textile art’.
